Happy to announce that the first official BYU in Latvia is in the books and we would like to announce the 2nd edition of Backyard Ultra “Lūša Pēdās” in Jēkabpils on 13.04.2024
Registration will open in Autumn 2023.
The first race was a huge success. 140 runners together managed to do 1110 yards. 7 runners reached 24h mark and the huge battle between Ritvars Kalniņš and Patryk Świętochowski ended after 46 yards with Ritvars taking the win and keeping the title in Latvia. Patryk with his assist of 45 yards achieved a new World record in the U23 category, a new Polish national record, and a new PB.
