Czechia Backyard Ultra Run

 

Competitors will run a 6.7056 km loop every hour until only one person is standing. You have one hour to finish the loop once it has started. If you finish a loop within the hour, you may start the next hour´s loop provided you are in the start corral when the next hour starts. If you do not finish within the hour, you are out of the race and considered a DNF.

Except for restrooms, competitors may not leave the course until each loop is completed. There is forbidden personal aid during a loop, trekking poles and other artifical aids.

Each loop starts precisely 1 hour after the last. Warning will be given 3, 2 and 1 minutes prior to start. All competitors will start at the bell (no late starts).

The winner is the last person to complete a loop. All others are technically DNF. If no runner can complete one more loop than anyone else, there is no winner.

Background:

The facilities of the swimming pool area, including showers and toilets, will be available to the competitors. During the race, they can use a tent with refreshments in close proximately to the start and finish line.

On the day of the race, the facility will be open from 8 a.m.

Entry fee: 1.600,- CZK (until 30.9.2024), 1.900,- CZK (until 31.12.2024), 2.200,- CZK (until 24.4.2025)

The number of competitors is limited to a maximum of 120 runners.

The Entry fee includes:

• personalized starting number with the number of laps completed
• commemorative medal
• snack: 3x soup (meat broth), cheese, salami, bread, nuts, chocolate, salt, fruit, tea, ionic drink, coffee.

• constant supervision.
