Kronborg Backyard Ultra is held in the hometown of the famous Hamlet; Elsinore! With stunning views of the UNESCO world heritage site Kronborg and the sea, the loop runs on trails through the forest. The loop consists mainly of trail and dirt roads and no tarmac. We will run the same loop day and night, and there is an elevation gain of approx. 70 meters per loop. During the loop you will pass several impressive viewpoints with great views of Kronborg and the sea, where you can see Sweden in the distance.
The race offers great facilities for runners, with the starting corral bein situated in “Helsingør Ferie By”, a village of small holiday homes, that runners can even book for the race at good rates. Contact us for more information.
Runners will be provided with a basic aid station providing energy drink and various energy products. Also we will provide some sort of food for approx. every second hour.
The race will start on saturday the 15th of april at 10 am. A detailed schedule of the event will be provided prior to the race.
2024 is the third edition of the race. The 2023 edition was won by Gotfred Skjødeberg with 34 yards.
