The challenge returns! After a sold-out event last year, MTC and Hamilton County parks are proud to present Central Indiana’s only official Backyard Ultra at Koteewi Park for 2024, and this year is slated to be bigger and better than ever. We have an 8am start and a course change at roughly 7pm.

The 2024 event is slated to take place at 8am on Sept. 7th at White River Campground and will feature a 4.167mi dirt and gravel day loop through Koteewi Park followed by a 4.167mi paved trail out and back along E 234th st (identical or very similar to last years courses). It will continue until only one is left standing.
Our aim for this upcoming year will be to have overnight camping available the night before the race and shuttles to the parking lots pre and post-race. We will have more information on these in early January.
