With a bit over 500′ elevation per yard, this is a very difficult backyard course at 8300′ in July. The sun gets hot up here and the course is all exposed terrain. This event is set on a private ranch owned by ultra runners,  just west of the front range in northern Fremont County Colorado. This is no ordinary Backyard Ultra, we welcome you to The Crooked Mile experience.
