Bronze:

We are excited to confirm we have locked in the date for the 2nd year of the Wild Dog BYU, and the venue is again in Gippsland (Victoria Australia) at Lardner Park.

Checkout this Aerial view of Lardner Park.

This iconic regional exhibition venue is located 12kms from the thriving town of Warragul and is a 1 hour drive (East) from Melbourne – and provides the perfect location to host a BackYard Ultra event.

With permanent shedding, kitchen and toilet facilities, and a large flat open space off these facilities, overlooking a large dam – the start finish line has ample space for participants and their crew to setup and cheer on and support – plus most of the course will be able to be viewed from this area too.  On top of this, there is plenty of parking for spectators to come along and check out what’s happening.

With access to the facility from Thursday onwards and given the Friday morning start (10am), there is plenty of time for interstate runners to fly into Melbourne on Thursday and trek down the highway and setup camp for the night and be ready to tackle the first lap in the crisp winter air the next morning!
