- The third annual Turkey Ridge Backyard Ultra was South Dakota’s first Backyard event! It’s the premier race in the region!! The race will be held on a farmstead near Turkey Ridge in the eastern part of the state. The course is and out and back plus a loop through maintained and un-maintained gravel and dirt roads as well as pastureland. Day and night loops will not change and elevation gain/loss will be minimal but not non-existent!!
