big dog’s backyard hour 6:
.
made a quick trip up the hill so little dog could take a pee break.
she really thought i should either stay
or take her with me.

one of the unpleasant aspects of putting on a race these days are the spammers that descend.
every year the staff gets better at blocking them.
every year they grow in number
and every year more people inexplicably get sucked in.

the website with all the real data and live results is www.backyardultra.com

the actual broadcast is on you tube:
conversations by the woodpile

everything is free
nobody should be asking for your credit card number.

now, back to the race:
the small country division is where the action is right now.
we are down to 7 clean rosters after 5 hours,
depending on what is happening in zambia,
where technical problems have prevented them from putting in scoring.
with cote d’ivoire putting in the fastest yards.
just so you know,
brunei is running the slowest among the clean teams.

in the mid-size countries there are still 17 clean teams.
czechia leads the midsize teams in fastest yard times,
this makes sense, since they lead everyone!

brazil is running the slowest yards among the mid-size countries.
watch out for the brazilians!

overall we have only 38 clean teams.
losing a runner early is not necessarily fatal to team chances,
but it certainly doesnt help.

everyone is out on the 6th hour,
the completion of which will mark 25 miles.
