Welcome to the Brokenagan Backyard Ultra located at Silver Star Provincial Park.
Join us at 5,500 feet to run 4 mile one hour maximum loops through wild flowers, forest, and marsh land passing a beautiful mountain lake all on the world class cross country ski trails of Sovereign Lake Nordic Center.
The Backyard ultra is a fun event that any ability can do, even if your goal is a few loops.
Come a test out your training, challenge your friends and family to a loop off, or give it all you’ve got to be the last runner standing!
We have a large staging area with plenty of room for you to set up your support aid tents and helpers.
The Okanagan Valley is a wonderful location, with lots of opportunities for friends and families of athletes to enjoy while you are racing. Make a holiday weekend of your event and enjoy Silver Star Mountain Park.
This park boasts many mountain bike and hiking trails to enjoy or perhaps take a drive 2km further up the road to Silver Star Mountain Resort.
