2024 is the fifth edition of the DNF Challenge – Backyard Ultra Israel. The event is a Golden ticket event for Big’s Backyard Ultra in Tennesse, USA.
There are only 100 places open. Our focus is to keep this event a small, familiar meeting, where the trail and ultra runners can meet and compete.
The race is attended by increasing numbers of runners, including top local ultra runners.
There is a constant increase in the number of registered runners (1st ed – 49, 2nd ed – 63, 3rd ed – 83)
In 2024 we expect to reach the 100 participants limit.
The race has a day loop on single trails in the Solelim Forest, and a night loop on dirt roads around the forest.
The record is 36 yards, by Hanan Cohen, set in 2022. The assist in 2022 went to Tamar Shay.
