After years of running singletracks, altimeters, different distances, loops, etc. We thought it was time to take matters into our own hands.

We are organising the very first official Backyard Ultra in Belgium. Running a lap of 6,7km every hour till the last man is standing. The other participants have to settle with a ‘DNF’ after their name.

We have planned a route in Schelle (the backyard of Antwerp) so it won’t be boring. In 2020 our fellow countryman Karel Sabbe became world champion of the official virtual world championship  with 75 laps. This became possible because of Merijn Geerts who’ve run 74 laps.

Are you interested in pushing your limits? Sign in to participate and let’s see how many laps you can run.

Kind regards,

Angelo and Jesse
