Malaysia’s national championship race will be held in a new location for 2024, Elmina Rainforest Knowledge Centre Park ! The Shah Alam park, just about half an hour from central Kuala Lumpur, offers a smooth paved route including the iconic rainbow walkway. The park is popular with runners, cyclists, and photographers. On an out-and-back course with minimal elevation, there’s no excuse not to keep going longer…if you can take the heat! Temperatures will reach 30-35 degrees C with around 80% humidity and little shade. Top Malaysian runners will aim for a new national record, but it will be hard to beat! They also strive to make it into the top 50 countries that will go to Big’s in 2025.
