Main information
- Start: Friday 28 June 2024 at 10:00 a.m
- Place: Kemp Pod Rozhlednou (U Rozhledny 2933, 352 01, As, Czechia).
- Route: 6.71 km long loop (https://mapy.cz/s/nevosunosa).
- Maximum number of participants 75 (48 remaining places).
- The race presentation takes place on Thursday (6/27/2024) from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Friday (6/28/2024) from 7:45 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. in the camp at the race site.
- The pre-race discussion will take place at 9:40.
- The entry fee is CZK 200.
- 🥈 Silver ticket race > On October 19, 2024, the 2024 World Team (i.e. World Nations Championship) takes place. The winner of our race (or the best Czech) has the automatic right to participate in it for the Czech Republic team. All others who run min. 24 loops have the right to be included in the nomination, which then selects the Top 15 best Czechs from the past 2 years.
Kemp Pod Rozhlednou
- The camp premises (large party tent, washrooms, kitchen, facilities with timer results, etc.) are available free of charge to all participants.
- The accommodation price is not part of the entry fee. Everyone pays for their accommodation. The price for competitors and their companions is 90 CZK per person per night.
- From 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., nighttime rules will apply.
- Check-in time is on Thursday from 16:00 to 19:00 and on Friday from 7:00 in the morning.
- There will be a fireplace for a barbecue at the campsite.
- About 75m from the entrance to the camp is Hospůdka, where you can buy basic snacks and drinks. We will add here details about opening hours etc.
- There will be small refreshments and water at the campsite. However, each competitor is obliged to provide his energy source (drinks and food) for the entire duration of the race. Please keep in mind that the race can be physically very demanding and exhausting, and you need to replenish your energy after almost every lap.
Rules
The race is run at your own risk. No one from the Dopesace Crew is responsible for any injuries or accidents. A consent signature will be required upon presentation.
- Each competitor must be at least 18 years old.
- Each lap of the circuit is run in the same direction.
- During the entire race, competitors are required to wear their starting number visibly on the front part of the body.
- A starting corral will be marked at the starting point, which will remain in the same place with the same dimensions for the entire duration of the race.
- At the start of the round, all active competitors must be in this starting corral. Even just a second late means immediate disqualification from the race!
- Each round starts exactly one hour after the previous round.
- 3, 2 and 1 minutes before the start will be accompanied by a whistle (3 minutes = 3 whistles, 2 minutes = 2 whistles, 1 minute = 1 whistle). Likewise, each round will be started with a whistle.
- All competitors must start at the time of the announcement of the start of the round.
- Except for using the bathroom, you are not allowed to leave the race route until the lap is completed.
- No help (fans, crews or other support) is allowed on the route. Even eliminated competitors are no exception.
- Each lap must be completed within 60 minutes of the start. (Including the last final round.)
- It is not allowed to hide anything, food or snacks on the route.
- It is forbidden to use any aids, including running poles.
- Slower runners must let faster runners in front of them.
- The race must not be run with animals.
- The winner of the race is the last single runner to complete the lap.
- All other runners will be marked as DNF (however, the number of laps and km completed will be added to each).
- If no runner manages to complete one lap more than anyone else, the race has no winner.
- Compulsory equipment: for the evening and night sections, every competitor must have a headlamp and reflective goggles.
Registration
Registration is made through this Google form.
The capacity of the race is 75 runners (currently 48 available spots).
After filling in the registration form, you will receive an e-mail with the registration fee payment process. When we will receive the registration fee, we will count you as an official registered runner.
If the maximum capacity of the race is exceeded, the advantage will be the applicants from whom we will get the registration form earlier. In case, we do not get the registration fee within 7 days from sending the registration instructions e-mail, we will disqualify this applicant from the race.
The entry fee
The entry fee consists of 3 parts:
- Basic entry fee CZK 200.
- You are required to bring any bag of candy to the presentation.
- Each competitor is obliged to donate 1 to 10 CZK for every kilometre covered to a “good cause” that we will determine before the start of the race. (Valid for 100 km covered, above this limit the contribution is purely voluntary.)
Entry fee includes:
- Running bib.
- All the administration.
- Facility operation costs.
- Small snacks, water, etc.
